employment opportunities.

To provide the learner with opportunities to develop and apply knowledge and
skills in projects that promote environmental conservation and cultural
heritage outcomes of community and environmental benefit.

DELIVERY

Learners must complete 680 hours of work on a project of environment and/or
community benefit which makes up the on-the-job component of the course.

The on-the-job component must include the modules:

- Sound Work Practices
- Use and Maintenance of Tools and Equipment
- Job File

The on-the-job Elective modules are selected to suit the particular project and
can be chosen from:

LICENSING ARRANGEMENTS

The course is owned by the Australian Trust for Conservation Volunteers but is
