Description

The course provides training in the areas of designing/fashion illustrating,
merchandising/marketing and wholesaling.

It provides the student with:

-the ability to further develop their expertise in pattern-making and apparel
construction.

-development of design skills and creativity in garment styling.

-skills in a range of related areas to enhance their employment opportunities.

The course consists of a core in the areas of Apparel Construction,
Pattern-Making and Design and electives. Students will be able to undertake a
multi-disciplinary course of study by choosing subjects from the elective list
based on their occupational intent and interest.
