Council using National Hard Sector modules. Training providers who wish to deliver this program
must obtain written approval from the Council and be registered by their State accrediting authority.
2. The proponent for this course is South East Metropolitan College of TAFE
(on behalf of the Light Manufacturing Industry Training Council), Hayman Road, Bentley, WA
6012.
3. This course was entered on to the CMS by the Product Development & Evaluation Unit,
South East Metropolitan College of TAFE on 16 May 2001.
4. Modules 83349 Edge Bander (WA) and 83010 ABC510 Materials Handling were added at the beginning of 2002 following a request from the LMITC and SEMC to replace module 83083 ABC585 Edge Bander (which was 40 hours). This replacement was due to some content in the ABC585 national module not being totally relevant for use in WA industry. The new module 83349 is based solely on relevant components of the previous 83083 ABC585 Edge Bander that were identified for WA industry use.
