Description

This qualification is for a range of marine personnel who require post graduate qualifications to assist them in their career transition from sea-based professional positions (pilots, engineers, Masters, naval officers) to land-based maritime management positions such as port operators, shipping agency managers, logistics professionals, transport and freight-forwarding executives, harbour masters and shipping company middle and senior managers.

Candiates are required to complete a total or seven units: 2 Core units and five Elective units consisting of three Specialist Maritime Units (Group A), two Management Units (Group B).

SPECIALIST MARITIME UNITS Candidates choose three units to a minimum of 200 hours from the following list or from any Advanced Diploma level unit in the Maritime Training Package TDM01 that has not previously credited in the candidates qualifications.
