State Implementation and Classification
Description
This course provides a structured training framework for:
-
the development of clerical and office skills to Level II of the
National Clerical-Administrative Competency Standards (Private Sector) in
generic clerical areas
-
a vocational awareness or taster course for participants wishing to
test a vocational interest in the minerals and resources area prior to
continuing on to an employment or vocational level with either
secretarial/receptionist or accounts/payroll streams
-
a course which will enhance the opportunities of people wishing to
enter or re-enter the clerical workforce to be able to gain entry level
training and employment with further on or off-the-job training opportunities
with the minerals and resources industry
-
an opportunity for successful course participants to gain an ASF Level
II Certificate as a post-school vocational credential or qualification.
