Description
To provide quality education and training for learners through a structured program that aims to equip the learner with sufficient skills and knowledge to take charge of the machinery aboard a seagoing vessel where the output of the main propulsion machinery does not exceed 750 kW.
Schedule
1. CORE
Learners must complete ALL core modules. Learners who have not completed training in Elements of Shipboard Safety as specified in Schedule 3 of Section 2 of the USL code must complete both Group 1 modules prior to undertaking practical training onboard a vessel.
