The aim of this course is to provide supporting skills for a student already enrolled in an award course. Modules will be selectively chosen to provide appropriate skills to advance progression on the award course.

GENERAL NOTE
Students are eligible to enrol in this course if they are already enrolled in a vocational qualification. Students can only be enrolled in this course as a DUAL enrolment.
This course is not a vehicle for the delivery of skills recognition of nominated Units of Competence covering workplace communication skills, nor for the delivery for skills recognition of nominated Units of Competence covering workplace maths skills.
Students will not be assessed on the learning outcomes of this course. Successful completion of the VET course indicates successful completion of the Applied Vocational Study Skills course.
Students do not need to spend any extra hours in training in order to access literacy-based support. Team teaching and specialist support at no extra cost to students or employers.
