Description

The Certificate I in Work Education is a post school course for people with disabilities who have special learning needs. It will prepare them to:

- gain mainstream employment involving routine, predictable, repetitive and proceduralised tasks under supervision or

- undertake further vocational training.

Schedule
1.

A total of 11 Core units must be completed. There are no Elective units

VBP518 "Vocational elective" needs to be a unit that is originally packaged at Certificate I level.

Note: when selecting elective units of competency imported from another training package to be included in VBP518 Vocational elective, the RTO doesn't need to have on Scope of Registration the parent training package, unless they are advertising and delivering them separtately. RTOs can also apply to have single units of competency added to their Scope of Registration.
