This course is the copyright of the Western Australian Department of Training
on
behalf of the Crown. Training providers who wish to deliver this program must
be
registered by their State accrediting body.
The owner of this course is the South West Regional College of TAFE on behalf
of the WA
Department of Training. The course is accredited by the Training Accreditation
Council (TAC) in Western Australia and has been placed on the National
Register as code 15726WA.

To receive the qualification, the learner must successfully complete 40
competency points including all
the points in the Core Band. Evidence of competencies collected according to
principles listed in the
MERS Training Package.
2. A statement of attainment will be issued for all competencies completed
or granted under an RPL process.
The qualification will be issued when condition 1 (above) is met.
3. See MERS Training Package for competency details for credit to this
level of qualification.
Learners can progress to level IV and V qualifications and obtain credit for
competencies
already recognised.
4. Course content will be reviewed periodically through the mechanism of
the college business system.
Development arising from training package considerations will be incorporated
as necessary.
