State Implementation and Classification
Description
This course provides skills which focus on cultural, natural and built environments. It provides interaction of art and design in areas such as public art, the community, landscape and internal and external environments. The Advanced Diploma incorporates Cert IV and Diploma qualifications
Learners who achieve the competencies and/or modules at the Advanced Diploma level will be able to:
- practice as artists with particular skills in site specific art, within contemporary society;
- work collaboratively with arts workers, professionals and community to achieve objectives; and
- manage their careers in a professional manner
Schedule
- There are no elective units and/or modules.
- No units may be substituted or deleted from the qualifications.
- Any additional units undertaken will be to address specific skills and knowledge gaps in order to maintain access and entry for potential learners. These will not form part of the qualifications but be issued as a separate Statement of Attainment from the appropriate qualification.
- Units of competence and/or modules can be modified in line with reasonable adjustments to suit learners with special needs as defined in the section Training and assessment for people with special needs.
1. Compulsory
One (1) unit of competency and fourteen (14) modules must be completed to gain the Advanced Diploma of Applied Environmental Arts.
