Description
The Certificate I in New Opportunities for Women (NOW) is a general education program intended to provide participants with the knowledge, skill and support to make a transition into further vocational education and training and/or the workforce.
This course is a bridging course for women looking to re-enter the workforce or change their career direction. The course offers women the opportunity to explore various career options, build confidence, and gain academic standards for further education and training.
It is designed to assist learners who have been marginalised or disadvantaged to develop the skills and abilities to direct their own development into further study or employment.

- Elective units of 100-150 nominal hours

2. Suggested Elective Units

- Elective units can be imported from any Accredited Course or Endorsed Training Package at Certificate I level
- A maximum of one (1) unit can be imported at Certificate II level from any Accredited Course or Endorsed Training Package.
Units drawn from Training Packages or other Accredited Courses must comply with the Assessment Guidelines of that Training Package or Accredited Course.
