GROUP 2

Students are to select a minimum of 68 nominal hours from Units of Competency (from the 1000 or 2000 series for units), from the General Construction, Civil Construction, Offsite, Services (2001) or other construction related Training Packages. RTOs need to tailor the selection of Units of Competence to the practical project being undertaken whilst observing all the Training Package requirements to meet pre-requisite units where stipulated.

1. This course is the copyright of the Western Australian Department of Training. Training providers who wish to deliver this program must obtain written approval from the proponent and be registered by their State
accrediting body.

2. The course was originally accredited in WA from 01/01/99 to 31/12/2001 for the Department of Training in order to satisfy industry specific tenders for targetted access student groups.

3. Further information on this program may be obtained from the Manager, Training Products Information Service (TPIS) at the WA Department of Training (08) 9235 6222.

4. This course was entered on to the CMS by West Coast College of TAFE on 07/01/1999.

5. This course has been changed on 11/04/2001 by Training Products Information Service to include units of competence from BCG99 General Construction Training Package and add additional skills practice training.
