1 Course Modules:

An induction session of three hours duration has been included in the
off-the-job program.

2 Requirements to receive qualification:

To receive the award the learner must successfully complete the core modules,
the prescribed number of electives and the on-the-job program. The on-the-job
requirements are specified in the training plan.

The Training Record Book should provide a detailed record of the learner's
achievements and will be used to approve certification.

3 48037 First Aid must be conducted by a person qualified to instruct in
First Aid. 46199 Senior First Aid may be taught as a substitute for this
subject.

4 43000 AATM Functional Mathematics is a National Module. It is strongly
recommended that the teaching resources be developed using Rural Applications.

5 Further Nationally approved modules may be added as electives when
these modules become available.
