Description

This certificate is designed for adults who may have left school early or not completed secondary education and need to improve their literacy, numeracy and general education skills.

To provide skill development in reading, writing, basic maths and oral communication in order to prepare for employment, further training or facilitate participation within the community.

Learners are to complete 80 nominal hours of modules from the following Reading and Writing Group. (The shorter modules are learning outcome components of the 81251 VBM685 Reading and Writing - Introductory module, and are offered as an alternative to provide flexibility for learners in achieving competence).
