Description

Successful completion of this course will prepare students for entry into a Certificate I Construction Pre-Apprenticeship or gain employment as a skilled labourer in the construction industry.

Select a total of 80 hours from the following elective units of competence in Group 2. The following list is representative only and is from the BCG03 General Construction Training Package. Units can also be selected from the BCC03 Civil Construction, BCF00 Off-Site Construction and the LMF02 Furnishing Industry Training Packages, with the added option of selecting one (1) unit of competence from a Certificate I in Automotive or Metals and Engineering Training Package provided the unit selected does not duplicate a construction unit. Other units can be substituted or added to the list.
