State Implementation and Classification
Description
This course will develop the knowledge and skills required to interact, give and receive a broad range of complex information in Auslan in a number of contexts, identify and analyse the structure of Auslan.
Schedule
The entry requirement for Diploma of Auslan is completion of Certificate IV or equivalent competency at that level. Students can present for assessment at any time for demonstrated equivalence in Auslan skills and can gain credit for entry requirements at any level through RPL.
PACKAGING RULES:
- Learners to complete all five (5) core units
- Learners to complete elective units to the equivalent of 90 hours. One elective unit may be chosen from any currently endorsed national Training Package, and must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
