State Implementation and Classification
Description
The diploma has a focus on developing breath, depth and complexity of skills to enable the individual to plan and when required initiate alternative approaches to the applications of skills or knowledge across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements. It is expected that a diplomate will be a self directed individual capable of analysing and planning approaches to a problem for action by themselves or a technical team.

1.
The requirements for the Diploma of Electrotechnology will comprise achievement of twenty-five (25) Core units (Groups 01 to 11) plus one (1) specialisation pathway and all units within that pathway.
