Description
To overcome Aboriginal students' reticence in
speaking, reading and writing by exercising their
existing skills in a supportive environment.
To develop language skills in a way which recognises
that Aboriginal culture plays a significant part in
forming students' views and opinions.
To enable students to attain competency in reading
and writing standard English.
Note:
This subject will be a support to the Adult Literacy course scheduled for three
hours a week.
