Description
To certify that students have acquired the necessary
knowledge and understanding of the generally
accepted conventions and display procedures of
Typewriting for vocational purposes and the ability
to teach the subject to students of different ages,
abilities and aptitudes.
Successful students will be entitled to use the

Joint Examining Board Examination
SECTION
An examination paper lasting for 1.5 hours + 10 minutes' reading time. The
examination will consist of 5 exercises, viz preparation of marking scheme,
marking of student's work, underlining errors, commenting on errors, and a
composing exercise.
Candidates must achieve 70% of the total marks
available to secure a Pass.
SECTION: APPLIED PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING
Part 2
An examination paper lasting for 1 hour + 10
minutes' reading time. Candidates are required to
answer TWO questions from a choice of four. All
questions carry equal marks.
Candidates must achieve 60% of the total marks
available to obtain a Pass.
