Description
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake a basic project within an industry. It includes completion of a project using basic technical skills and techniques, tools, equipment, materials and components.

This unit supports the attainment of basic work applications which includes the attainment of technical skills and working with others and as a member of a team.
The unit should be contextualised for the industry in which it is applied and basic projects appropriate for the industry should be completed.
