Description
To develop knowledge and skills in the preparation and provision of leisure and recreation activities, hobbies and life skills with children aged 5 to 12 years.
Range of Variables
1 This module could be delivered either
through an open learning mode or in a group
learning context.
For group delivery the practical nature of
this module makes it essential that a
minimum of 4 hours are allocated for
workshop groups with a maximum of 15
participants, to provide for experiential
learning.
2 The deliverer must be familiar with the
module requirements of Creative and
Expressive Play 5 to 12 Years - SFP and
ensure that the delivery of this module
fully prepares students for the practical
skills of that module.
3 Delivery of this module requires access to
water and a range of materials and equipment
suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years.
4 This module is at an introductory level only
and its intent is to provide a
