To provide the learner with skills and knowledge required to read and interpret plans and specification and undertake drafting and sketching for medium rise and wide span commercial and industrial buildings.

This module provides classwork and specialised lectures and demonstrations on nominated topics:

- Drawing practice and drafting
- Site visits
- Learner research

Final folio of working drawings.

Supervised site visits of suitable buildings under construction with interpretation aided by the use of actual working drawings. Lectures should be
in a normal classroom and drawing in a well lit and properly established drawing studio under supervision of the assessing teacher.
