To provide an experiential means for exploring and
consolidating rhythm concepts.
To provide an opportunity for students to explore
their innate sense of rhythm and to use it in a
variety of performance situations.
To enable and encourage students to broaden their
scope of musical expression and to foster the
development of their individual styles.

sight-reading, contribution to ensemble and

which comprises rhythmic patterns covered throughout
the semester.
