Description
To equip the student with a knowledge of legal
principles and concepts that apply to transactions
with and between commercial enterprise, with
emphasis on formation and operation of civil
contract law, but not on conclusion of contracts.

To equip the student with a realisation and
understanding of the role and complexity of the law,
and to recognise when professional legal advice
should be sought.

To equip the student with an understanding of legal
position in relation to trade practices and consumer
protection law and its ramifications with respect to
different elements of contract formation.

To equip the student with the ability to apply legal
principles and concepts towards the solution of
simulated practical business legal problems with the
use of appropriate assignment materials.
