Description
To equip the student with a knowledge
of a number of legal principles and
concepts with particular reference to
the Trade Practices And Consumer
Protection Legislation and its
ramifications with respect to contracts
for the supply of goods and services.

To equip the student with a realisation
and understanding of the role and
complexity of the law, and to recognise
when professional legal advice should
be sought.

To equip the student with the ability
to apply principles and concepts
towards the solution of simulated
practical business legal problems with
the use of appropriate assignment
materials.

The following Parliamentary Acts may be
taken into the examination rooms and
used by students:

- Sale of Goods Act;
- Hire Purchase Act;
- Trade Practices Act or "Australian Trade Practices
Legislation"
- published by CCH Australia Ltd;
- WA Credit Act.
- Partnership Act.

The copies of these Parliamentary Acts
must be unmarked except that the
following marks are permitted:

- Amendments may be made;
- Underlining is permitted;
- A cross-reference to another section may be made by
writing the number of that section against any other section.
