Description
To provide the student with the knowledge, skills
and techniques, in the various methods, that mass
brickwork may be relieved by the introduction of
decorative features.
The practical exercises have been selected, with the
aim of improving the student's dexterity with the
tools and materials, and augmenting his experience
of craft operations, including brick-paving.
To develop the student's knowledge of the
bricklayer's role as a Supervisor and a Businessman,
and to recognise the importance of interpreting,
correctly, his obligations to the Community,
Building By-Laws, the Customer, Employers and
Associated Trades.
