Description
To provide the students with sound
practical skills and theoretical
knowledge, on all facets of sheetmetal
welding, on a variety of metals.
To ensure transfer of skills in pattern
development and calculation, together
with theoretical knowledge gained,
toward the manufacture of complex and
general sheetmetal manufacture.
To provide the students with a
structured range of training exercises,
related to sheetmetal work.
To ensure that students attain a
prescribed performance standard for
each unit, and that these standards
equate to the on-site performance
requirement.
To introduce the student to Occupational Health and Safety issues, relevant to
the trade.
