Description
This unit specifies the repair and/or replacement of mechanical and electrical components of electrical apparatus relevant to the normal way of doing work in Australia.

This unit is for holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) issued by an RTO and incorporates the minimum context gap to meet Australian standards and regulations.

This unit shall only be undertaken by holders of an OTSR for the following qualifications or successors of the following qualifications:
- UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- UEE33011 Certificate III in Electrical Fitting

Entrants must hold a provisional/restricted licence issued by the Australian state or territory regulatory authority responsible for regulating electrical work and the licensing of workers
