Description
To examine the various factors affecting programme planning. In studying macro factors particular reference will be paid to the societal context within which programme planning takes place and relevant interactions which exist between society and the institutions within which financial counsellors must operate. Micro factors which affect the planning of programmes such as pressure from service users also are addressed. After both types of factors have been considered students will be required to use their knowledge of programme planning. A specific programme will be planned, goals will be set and then the programme initiated and established within a financial counselling workplace.
