To develop basic hand tools skills, and
a useable industry vocabulary.
Provide the students with the
structured range of training objectives
that accurately relate to the skills of
the industry in which he/she works.
To ensure that each student attains the
prescribed performance standard for
each training unit and that those
standards equate to the on-site
performance requirement.
To introduce the student to
occupational health and safety issues
relevant to his/her trade.
