To provide students with a sound
working knowledge of the major tourist
destinations of the world not already
covered in Area Studies "A".
The knowledge gained from this subject
will enable Travel Consultants to
advise, counsel and inform travellers
of the features and facilities
available for tourists within the
regions of the United Kingdom;
Scandinavia; West, Central and Eastern
Europe; Mediterranean region; North and
South America; and the Republic of
South Africa.
To develop an awareness of the numerous
sources from which relevant data may be
obtained.
