To provide an integrated theoretical and practical understanding of acupressure
and assist the learner in developing a cross-cultural awareness of different
systems of bodywork.

Continuous Internal Assessment
Students will be invited to bring along 2 guests and demonstrate, to their
stage of learning, their use of
acupressure techniques. Competency to be assessed after completion of Learning
Outcome 2.
Logbook
Students will be required to compile a file of 2 individual case histories
discussing clients' diagnosis and treatment given.
Practical Oral Test
Students will be required to perform a one hour massage incorporating their
knowledge. Session will begin with deep relaxation and stretching exercise.
Competency to be assessed at completion of Learning Outcome 3.
A pass in all assessments is required.
