This unit outlines the knowledge and skills required to safely practice complex nursing care within a variety of health care settings.

The unit also describes the physiological changes and nursing care of clients with a condition/disorder of fluid and electrolyte balance, the gastrointestinal, nervous, special senses, endocrine, and urinary, reproductive systems and associated medication therapy.

The unit also outlines simple wound management and the application of the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision-Making Framework is described.
