Description
To enable learners to use Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) to customise software.
Range of Variables
This module contains learning outcomes that require theory and practical
instruction under standard drawing room conditions. The theory component will
be assessed at the end of the instructional period when learners are required
to sit for a closed book theory test.

The practical component will be assessed by appropriate drawing exercises. It
is necessary to pass individually the practical component and the theory
component to pass the module.

The intention of this module is to extend a learner’s exposure to CAD beyond
that received in CE CAD 1 and CE CAD 2. It is desirable to use a different
software package in this module to that used in CE CAD 2. For example, if
AutoCAD was used in CE CAD 2 then microstation could be used in this module.
