This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use English as an additional language to participate in short simple conversations.
It requires the ability to speak and listen using English language capabilities equivalent to ISLPR 1+ to engage in short simple conversations.
The unit applies to individuals from language backgrounds other than English who are learning English language skills and require speaking and listening skills equivalent to ISLPR 1+.
