To enable the student to develop
knowledge, and practical skills, in the
basic procedures of different types of
woodturning.
To develop student knowledge of, and practical skills in, the use of handtools.

problems, in estimating quantities,
set-out, and working from drawings.

Occupational Health and Safety issues,
relevant to his/her trade.
