Description
To assist students to develop a value and ethics base and to understand the legal obligations of practice.
Range of Variables
This unit is intended to prepare participants for direct service delivery. The emphasis is on practical and experiential learning. Lecturers should preferably be experience as community advocates and be able to draw on personal experience and case material in order to demonstrate the use of community advocacy skills and knowledge. Lecturers must provide up-to-date information on the legislation and therefore must be prepared to research and ensure they include any changes which may be of relevance to this curriculum.
