To provide the learner with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience
necessary to apply the principles of the Alexander technique to their body use
while performing massage.

Oral assessment of Trager technique
1 Continuous internal assessment of Alexander technique.
2 Practical internal assessment of Alexander technique - students will
be required to apply the Alexander techniques during the performance of a timed
professional massage on nominated portions of the body. Body portions massaged
will be either:
- neck, shoulders, arms and chest
- back and legs.
3 Oral assessment on Trager technique.
The experiential aspect of the competencies to be achieved in this module will
require the learner to attend a minimum 21 hours to attain a pass.
A pass in all assessments is required.
