This unit specifies knowledge and skills needed to understand and apply theoretical concepts underlying development and learning in adulthood. It also develops a range of skills required for practitioners to make more informed and conscious choices about their teaching/learning practice.
Advanced Diploma, degree or equivalent in any discipline area. This qualification will often relate to a person's technical/professional background; alternatively it may be a teacher education qualification. Where the highest award offered by the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is a Diploma qualification, this would also be considered).
