To equip students with the skills to improve the
effectiveness of their employing organisation
through the recruitment, selection and induction of
suitably qualified staff.

job description, job specification, or recruitment
advertisement. (10%)
One major assignment such as the preparation of a
pattern for a behaviour description interview, or a
case study requiring the assessment and selection of
a candidate from a field of applicants. (20%)
One objective test comprising at least 25 multiple-
choice and/or true/false and/or short-answer
items. (10%)
One two-hour examination. (60%)
