Description
To foster a “hands-on” awareness of the value of the computer to a painting
contractor and demonstrate various software packages available.
Range of Variables
This module is designed as an awareness unit. The three hour session should be
conducted in a non-threatening environment where each student has direct access
to a computer.

The facilitator should highlight the advantages and limitation of computer
technology and then demonstrate simple examples of computer software for job
records, invoicing, specification, quoting and estimating.

Attendance is compulsory.
