Description
To inform students of the methods,
technical requirements and laws
pertaining to the installation of
services and requirements as applied to
residential buildings of Class 1 and 1A
only.
This is to provide a general knowledge of the principles involved to enable the
student to communicate technically; read, understand and be capable of
producing service drawings, details and specifications.
As part of course work in this subject,
students will be taken onsite and/or to
relevant trade workshops to view
electrical, mechanical, plumbing and
drainage installations and methods, to
gain an appreciation of requirements
from the tradespersons view point.
