Internal Assessment

Students will be expected to submit a small research project relating to
Learning Outcome 7.

This will consist of research into a material that could be used in conjunction
with timber, relating to how and where it could be used and why it was chosen.
The research is to be treated as a commissioned project. Adequate notice will
need to be given to students for this research project.

In addition to the research project, assessment for this module may also
contain a combination of practical demonstration (projects), written/oral
tests/assignments or other assessment method as detailed for each learning
outcome. Where appropriate assessment methods may be combined to assess more
than one learning outcome.

The demands of any assessment task should be no more than that required to
demonstrate competency in that learning outcome.

Learners must achieve each learning outcome stated in this module including the
research project/commission.
