---This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot stand-alone computers and small networks consisting of a maximum of five computers.
This unit of competency applies to a person working freelance or for an enterprise providing computer installation, set up and maintenance services.
The unit is also suitable for persons preparing to work in a technology environment and is suitable for use in a secondary school program with an appropriate level of supervision and support.
No occupational licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
