Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge to participate in interactions of limited complexity in familiar and some less familiar contexts. It requires the ability to apply interactional strategies in spoken texts requiring some specialisation, comprehension of embedded information and abstraction to exchange and respond to spoken information.
The required outcomes described in this unit contribute to the achievement of Australian Core Skills Framework indicators for Oral Communication at Level 3: 3.07, 3.08.
This unit applies to those who wish to improve their oral communication skills for personal, community, learning or employment purposes. Learners at this level work independently and use their own familiar support resources.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
