This unit describes the skills and knowledge to use the fundamental features and language of personal computers or other digital devices to perform a simple function and to access language learning activities. It requires the ability to access and use a digital device to complete language learning activities.

This unit applies to those who are unfamiliar with personal computers or other digital devices and who wish to improve their knowledge and use to support personal, educational or employment opportunities. Learners at this level may request support and begin to develop their own support resources.
