Description
This unit supports the student to attain basic OSH knowledge to enter the construction industry. The unit specifies the outcomes required to demonstrate the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.
The unit also specifies the outcomes required to be aware of OSH requirements through safe work practices at any on or off-site construction workplace. It requires the understanding of performance of work requirements and the planning and performance of safe work practices with concern for personal safety and the safety of others.
