* Marks shall be out of 100 expressed as a percentage.
* Each component within a unit must attain a pass mark of 50. Failure
may be redeemed by passing the individually-based component re- examination
paper, prior to commencement of the next unit.
* Drawing, Theory, Calculations - subject to a priviledged examination.
* The passmark for a unit shall be the averaging of all components'
marks.
* The certificate of trade studies shall be awarded on the successful
completion of a minimum of 18 units.

Assessment
A privileged re-examination or practical skills re-
assessment may be granted on the recommendation of a Board
of Review.
