Description
To develop an understanding of basic principles
underlying digital equipment employed in science
laboratories.

To enable students to be more competent operators of digital equipment, and
carry out routine maintenance on such equipment.

NOTE: Whenever possible, the theory should be introduced by
consideration of an item, or items, of scientific equipment, which use that
particular device or concept.
