To introduce the student, with the knowledge, and
expertise, required for the construction of
efficient cavity walls, including the functions of
damp-proofing.
To introduce the students, with the methods, and techniques, involved in
positioning, and building in door and window frames, including fixing
flashings, sill construction, lintels.
To introduce the student to quarter-bond, and to
gain knowledge in the appropriate construction
methods of English Bond, by applying the principles
of bonding.
